Parti Gras 2008 - A Great Success!
Parti Gras has grown through the years to become one of the most anticipated events in South Pasadena. However it would not be possible without the numerous hours and dedication of the cast that quietly work behind the scenes to make this vision a reality.
SPEF would like to thank our host for Parti Gras 2008 - Arroyo Seco Golf Course - and our sponsors, for their generous support of this event. Special thanks also go out to all those in the community whose contributions helped to make the evening such a success.
Summer School 2008
SPEF and the South Pasadena Unified School District work together to offer Summer School programs for elementary, middle and high school students.

Found out more about SPEF and what it is doing in the community.
South Pasadena schools are at the heart of the special community of South Pasadena.
But maintaining their excellence is a constant struggle - did you know that we receive $1,279 less per student than the State average? This is approximately $5,443,424, or 20% of South Pasadena's total school budget!
Because of this shortfall, the South Pasadena Educational Foundation is committed to help bridge the financial gap between what our five schools have, and what they need, in order to provide the quality education that our community expects, and our children deserve.
And SPEF is more than just a fundraising organization. Committed to increasing educational opportunities for South Pasadena students, we also organize Summer Schools at three different sites and last year started an Afterschool Program at the elementary schools. Through the hard work of our volunteers and your donations, we can continue to offer these programs in a way that combines great educational opportunities with excellent value. Here are some of the ways that SPEF funds are currently used by the District:
